The 7F ANC has five committees including: Alcohol Beverage Licensing; Economic Development, Workforce and Planning; Community Outreach; Public Safety; and Transportation and Public Space.
The committees meet at least once every other month in person, with meetings as needed virtually or in-person.
All current ANC 7F Commissioners are automatically members of all committees with one Commissioner serving as a Chair and at least one Resident Member. The Resident member will serve as the Committee Co-Chair and be nominated and approved by the Committee Chair.
Economic Development, Workforce, & Planning Committee Chair
Reviews all applications and proposals related to economic development, zoning, commercial development, and workforce related opportunities for the residents of 7F, by encouraging the economic viability of the 7F area while providing opportunities for community members to have first consideration for positions/jobs
Public Safety Committee Chair
The Committee focuses on safety for all 7F community members and visitors by working with social service agencies, schools, law enforcement, Courts, community members and others to provide appropriate coordination to address the issues connected to public safety
Transportation and Public Space Chair
The Committee promotes safe and effective transportation for residents and visitors in 7F and improve the use of public space in our neighborhood
Community Outreach Committee Chair
Addresses significant needs of community members by working with the community to identify needs and coordinate programming, as well as work with local organizations and other partners to address needs
Alcohol Beverage Licensing Committee Chair
Reviews and recommends action to the Commission on all issues affecting liquor licenses while promoting partnerships with businesses that support the economic and social viability of 7F
